Prayer List for the Healing and Restoration Community-Tucson

February 2025

Thank you for praying with our community. We believe that by directing prayer (love) at a person or situation from a distance (intercessory prayer), we can raise the vibrations that lead to healing the body, mind, soul, and spirit at all levels as the person in need of prayer allows.

We all need healing at different times in our lives. Sometimes, we need healing for physical illness. At other times, we need to heal the traumas we’ve suffered and find ways to release the difficulties of the past we carry in our bodies. We need a release from the struggles and emotions brought about by our conflicts and the pain we experience from the follies of humanity.

To heal, we cannot reject our illness and grief or use anger and aversion to try to get rid of them. Instead, we have to bring a tender, healing energy to all that is sick or torn, what is broken or lost. In the Buddhist prayer of healing, we recite: “May I be the healing medicine for all who are sick. May I bring healing to myself and others.” We believe that healing is possible and dedicate ourselves to being part of that healing. We become tender and wise with ourselves and those around us, especially when we are experiencing fear and grief ourselves.

Sometimes, this is all that healing asks, that we become present. You should never underestimate your power to heal when you step toward difficulty with courage and love when you touch pain with healing rather than fear. Our healing comes with our own kind attention and through the kind embrace of another. As long as you can, find a passion for the preciousness of life, and bring this care to the healing of your heart and body.  -Jack Kornfield

May the one who blessed our ancestors, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah, bless and heal those who are ill. May the Blessed Holy One be filled with compassion for their health to be restored and their strength to be revived. May God swiftly send them a complete renewal of body and spirit, and let us say, Amen. Mi

Shebeirach-Jewish Prayer

Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses. We do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Romans 8:26

“Why worry when you can pray?” -Edgar Cayce

Worry will accomplish nothing, yet prayer, as even science is finding out, works. It influences situations, people, and outcomes.

We pray that those being prayed for are surrounded with unconditional love, health, and healing for the greatest and highest good.

Dear Seeker,

Do you ever feel alone, lost and without direction? Do you yearn to be part of a community that cares for you, provides for you, worries about you, and guides you to a greater connection with others and God?

It’s okay to be alone, and it’s okay to question. It’s okay to skip the party and wrestle with the big questions of meaning on your own terms and in your own time.

But sometimes you just need someone to see you, someone to talk with you. Do you crave connection and even a friendship or relationship with other people? Do you know how to find it?

Perhaps you are aware that something is missing in your life: your community and village are not there for you. You might have closed the door on many family and personal relationships in the past. You have a desire for change, but you may not know where to find “your people.” You just don’t know where to start.

Many of us have felt alone, lost and without direction at various times in our lives. We did not feel a part of any community that cares for us, provides for us, nor guides us to a greater connection with God and with one another.

What if tomorrow morning, you could wake up and show up and let God take the wheel for a while?

I am Richard Schickel, Founder of the Healing and Restoration Community.  I have all the Spiritual Gifts of 1st Corinthians. This means that I know things, see things, hear things, sense things, and have wisdom beyond my years. I am a hands-on healer; I am a conduit of the energy of God the Creator.

If you are looking for a new beginning, you are not alone. Please join us. We welcome everyone who appears at our meetings or reads our posts. We will not judge you…we welcome you with pure, unconditional love.

We are people helping people; we attempt to follow the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” We are learning to love God, our neighbors and ourselves… first, best, and always.

Do you feel different from other people? Do you have spiritual gifts? Are you a prophet, mystic, psychic or medium? Having spiritual gifts is hard work. We will support and celebrate the people who have the inner strength to give their gifts to others, no matter who rejects them for it.

Our Mission:  We are a Conduit of Healing and Restore People Who Desire Healing

Our Vision:  We are a Charismatic Community that emphasizes the work of the Holy Spirit helping everyone! We embrace all forms of spiritual healing.

We are a community of “people helping the people” right in front of us, those in need or living in lack. Social justice work, helping people connect to resources that are available to them, will be a primary mission of our church. Did you know that only half of the people who qualify for food stamps sign up to receive food stamps? I believe that this is a result of the lack of education on how to apply for resources that are readily available to them, as well as access to computer knowledge. Some have no permanent address and, therefore, cannot receive benefits.

Jesus welcomed and included everyone to His table. He said that we are all part of one body held in the Creator God’s embracing love.

All members are free to bring their knowledge and beliefs to share with other members. You don’t need to abandon your existing religion to be a part of this community.

We believe that Jesus Christ (or even God) is not exclusive to just a few people. The essence of Jesus Christ is only the beginning of learning discernment and the mysteries of the Spirit. In death, the Christ rose above any religion founded in his name that remains tribal or exclusionary.  We believe in the Universal Christ who joins together and  encompasses all the people of the world.

We get you.

We know you.

We want you.

We love you.

We are your people!

We see the God Light within you. Come shine your light with ours.
